Ground Sirloin Burgers, Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwhich & Wedge Potatoes

Today I was gonna stop at Henry's Farmers Market in Burbank for some boneless chicken breast. As i was shopping for the chicken I seen some good looking ground sirloin of beef.
So I bought a couple pounds of ground sirloin a package of boneless chicken breast and a bag of russet potatoes.

Mixed the beef as follows:
  1. Lawry's seasoned salt
  2. Black Pepper

Prepared the chicken breast as follows:

  1. Olive Oil
  2. Adobo Seasoning
  3. Black Pepper

Prepare Russet Potatoes as follows:

  1. Wash and cut into wedges
  2. Sprinkle with Olive Oil
  3. Kosher Salt
  4. Black Pepper

Prepare the grill as follows:

  1. Heat all burners on medium high
  2. Place cast iron pan on one side and allow to heat with the grill
  3. Approximately after 10 minutes it will be ready to cook

Start to cook as follow:

  1. Add the potatoes to the cast iron pan
  2. Turn the burners all to low
  3. This will need to remain on low for about thirty minutes so the potatoes do not over brown with out being cooked all the way

NOTE: Initially all burners were on medium this was to prepare for the brushing (cause burn off)

After approximately 30 minutes turn up half of the grill to high to prepare for the meat

NOTE: Since I have a four burner I will turn the right 2 burners to high

  • Now add the burgers and chicken breast
  • The burgers will take a little longer then the chicken so I place the burgers on the hottest part of the grill
  • The chicken will be placed on the high side of the grates as well but in a cooler spot and then moved over the the lower side sooner
  • The chicken will have to be flipped sooner then the beef (see picture below)
  • By this time I will have to take the wedge potatoes off they look perfect (see picture below)
  • The chicken will be ready to take off before the burgers. I took them off and placed in tin pan and covered with foil (see picture below)
  • When the burgers were well done I took them off

At this point I turned up all the burners to high closed the lid then about 10 minutes later I can back and brushed the grill clean

Assemble the food as follows:

  • Chicken Sandwich
  • Roll toasted on the grill
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Mayo
  • Provolone cheese
  • Pickle slice on the side
